89 million rupees financial allocation for the development of Pirivenas
Hon. State Minister of Education Vijitha Betagoda after inspecting all the Pirivenas allocated Rs 89 million for the renovations of Pirivena Buildings of Island wide.
During a recent visit to the North Central, Northern, and Eastern provincial Pirivenas, Theminister distributed 295 sets of chairs and desks and Computers to the Pirivenas. He also allocated 5 million Rs from the allocation for the year of 2021 for the renovations of Pirivena buildings. In this year 5000 thousands sets of chairs and desks will be provided for Pirivenas Island wide.
His Excellency the President’s vision of Prosperity, this was implemented as one of the phases of developing the physical resources of the less privileged Pirivenas under the “Sadaham Dashakaya” program implemented by our ministry to make the policy statement a reality.
