The Pirivena Education Development Fund Act which was drafted to complete the infrastructure required for the upliftment of Pirivena Education, to provide assistance to reimburse the education expenses of lay clergy students has been approved by the Cabinet, This development fund act will be presented to Parliament soon and passed 

It is expected to seek the assistance of philanthropists Embassies and expatriate monks both locally and Internationally to strengthen this fund.
